Video: From Paper to Screen by Thibault de Fournas

This beautifully executed animation by Thibault de Fournas explores the evolution of typography from being used on paper then in cinema. After first being used in printed paper form, type made it’s way into cinema. Typography in cinema began simply as static and generic looking text, but as technology in film advanced, the typography became more animated and stylized to identify with a film’s theme.
